What is an Orphaned Ministry and how can I help?
Over three decades RMI has watched many translators answer the call to translate the resources (most often the RYM book) into their language to help other women in their nation find hope and comfort.
Reason & Season. Yet, most were here for that very reason but only for a season, and the miracle of the birth of that language was abandoned—many until Erin's final year of ministering, 2023 (so she could focus on writing and authoring more books) and He led us to build an Orphanage for many of our orphaned ministries that have never been available on any of our websites.
How YOU can help is by considering fostering an abandoned ministry until the Lord sends us the minister He's called to care for these lost sheep and lambs. If your mother tongue, your first language is something other than English, fostering might just be the perfect fit for you. Or, maybe you know or knew someone who's no longer coming to RMI but you witnessed the change in them and you're still friends or you'd like to rekindle your friendship. What is a Sister Language and how can that help with fostering a ministry?

Another beautiful sister bond has developed between our 🇳🇱 Dutch EeuwigdurendeLiefde-NL.com and 🇿🇦 Afrikaans EwigeLiefde.com who are extremely excited about the discovery of our 🇩🇪 German-translations with the hope of finding someone willing to foster.
What does fostering an orphaned ministry entail?
What we witnessed by the conclusion of 2023 is that basically, ALL the ministries were done by women (like you) who did it part-time! Amazingly, God called women (primarily mothers) who already had a full-time job to show everyone how anyone could make the time to answer God's call, even just temporarily by fostering.
"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, who are called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew [who would need encouragement], He also did predestined [reaching their destiny] to be conformed to the image of His Son [did not come to judge], that they may be the firstborn among many brethren [the first in their nation to discover hope]. Moreover, whom God predestined, He also called: and whom he called, them he also justified [to render just or innocent]: and whom He justified, them He also glorified [bestowed honor]."
It's as simple as posting praise—what God is doing in your life and how your Husband, your Maker is expressing His love towards you—not just on EncouragingWomen but just taking that praise and posting it in your own language on that language blog. The other way is to simply share your thoughts and feelings about something you learned in one of the many lessons you enjoy studying, which may or may not be in your language. Post the link, share, and watch your example begin to feed women in your nation.

For those of you who are currently fostering an abandoned and orphaned RMI Ministry, we'd love you to leave a comment below to share your experience and plant the seed of encouragement to a woman who might be considering fostering or adopting a ministry but may think she doesn't have the time and/or ability.
Wow, what a wonderful blessing it is for me to be here at RMI. Sometimes I think the only reason I am here is to witness His amazing miracles. I have been here for a few years now and have seen many things that I thought impossible, and for some of them, I had a marvelous front-row seat.
When I started here I helped out with the Spanish Ministry, although I could not speak a word of Spanish I was able to see how the Spanish started growing under the care of the one or two Spanish-speaking ladies we did have at the time and wow, now it is a blossoming ministry.
Then there were the Portuguese who had a big ministry already when I started here but due to attacks, they had trouble with tithing from Paypal and therefore were almost devoured, but again, due to faithful ladies, they were not able to just survive the attack, but they were able to thrive.
The Afrikaans Ministry is very small at the moment but every time I saw a new Afrikaans lady, I was reminded of the promise:
“The seventh time, he said, “I see a cloud as small as a man’s hand coming up from the sea.” Elijah said, “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Make your war-wagon ready and go down, so that the rain does not stop you.’””

And now I see it growing every day together with the Dutch which is the sister language.
What do all of these ministers that came have in common you may ask? You will have to confirm with them, but I can almost assure you, that none of them thought they could do it or that they had the time or that they were fit to take on this responsibility, but He showed them, that it was ultimately Him that is doing everything, all they need to do is be obedient and follow His lead.
As I said at the beginning of this, it is a privilege and a blessing for me to be able to write this comment today, seeing what I have over the years and getting excited because I know that if you are reading this, it may be that soon I will have a front-row seat in witnessing how He uses you for the next ministry that will bloom and bear fruit, thirty, sixty, and a hundredfold.
Es increíble como el Señor actúa muchas veces, hace unos días estuve revisando la página del ministerio porque recuerdo que antes había una sección o enlace donde te postulabas como voluntaria, ya no está disponible actualmente. Actualmente estoy retomando nuevamente mi universidad de RMIOU y seguir avanzando, con un corazón diferente y dispuesto para el Señor, antes mi enfoque era otro.
Una de las cosas que siempre he agradecido es poder hacer los cursos gratis cuando estaba en ceros, ahora sí bien es cierto que una puede ayudar a través del diezmo, hay algo que va más allá y es ayudar a otros de diferentes maneras que no sea económicamente, al inicio del VR estamos tan mal que no podemos ayudar a nadie, somos quien requiere la ayuda, pero llega ese punto donde ya podemos y queremos, aún con miedo, pero para eso él está con nosotros y es la mejor guía, y es por eso que quiero swr voluntaria.
Leí la información adjunta y no entiendo bien lo que buscan, pero voluntarias o misioneras o lo que mi amado desea para mí, estará bien, si puedo contribuir a su obra con testimonio de lo vivido o alimentando algún blog como lo he hecho en el español y muy pocas veces en el de inglés, todo lo que sume me gustaría apoyar, justo antes de ver esta publicación le preguntaba en oración a mi amado cuál era el propósito de este VR, sé que es conocerlo como mi EC, pero que yo sabía que había algo más, un propósito más allá para ayudar a más mujeres, así como algún día recibí de RMI cuando el Señor lo puso en mi camino para acercarme a él 🙏🏻 bendiciones 🙏🏻
It is incredible how the Lord acts many times, a few days ago I was checking the ministry page because I remember that before there was a section or link where you applied as a volunteer, it is no longer available currently. Currently I am resuming my university at RMIOU again and continuing to move forward, with a different heart and ready for the Lord, before my focus was different.
One of the things that I have always been grateful for is being able to take the free courses when I was at zero, now it is true that one can help through tithing, there is something that goes further and that is helping others in different ways other than economically, at the beginning of the VR we are so bad that we cannot help anyone, we are the one who requires help, but there comes that point where we can and want to, even with fear, but for that he is with us and is the best guide, and that’s why i want voluntary swr.
I read the attached information and I don’t quite understand what they are looking for, but volunteers or missionaries or what my loved one wants for me, it will be fine, if I can contribute to their work with testimony of what I have experienced or by feeding a blog as I have done in Spanish and very rarely in English, everything that adds up I would like to support, just before seeing this publication I was asking my loved one in prayer what the purpose of this VR was, I know it is to know him as my EC, but that I knew that there was something more, a purpose beyond to help more women, just as one day I received 🙏🏻blessings from RMI when the Lord put him on my path to get closer to him🙏🏻

2. Lei que no encontraste la pagina para voluntarias, esto es basicamente porque anteriormente no contabamos con la Universidad Online para entrenar o preparar a las damas que deseaban servir. 2. I read that you did not find the page for volunteers, this is basically because previously we did not have the Online University to train or prepare the ladies who wanted to serve. However, I really appreciate you sharing your experience with us so we can improve the website and offer you better service.
What a nice comment Yvonne, I can say that when I began to minister I certainly felt incapable of doing it, in fact I still am (if I do it without HIM), only by relying on my Beloved have I managed to stay encouraged and with a heart willing to serve. So it’s true all He needs is a willing and obedient heart. For me it is a great blessing to be able to serve in RMI, I encourage every lady who has a God-given talent for another language to seek Her Husband to see if RMI is the field where He wants her to put her talents to work and that regardless May you be encouraged to do so following His guidance.
When I started at RMI more than 4 years ago as AFR proofreader, I had so many doubts in my abilities because Language was never my strong point, but I knew that He placed the desire in my heart to do it, so I trusted that He would help me. All you need is a willing heart and His help and guidance.
I watched the AFR grow over the last 4 years from having almost no journals coming in, to now having two RMIOU students who journals every day and growing tremendously on their journeys, as well as other brides posting praises and commenting!
While I was busy proofreading, translating and building AFR pages, even started the AFR blog during that time, I knew deep in my heart it was for the appointed time and preparing the resources for the ladies to come. Even the DUT who now have one dedicated RMIOU student. I am so extremely excited for the German, having the AFR, DUT and GER available as sister-languages. I am trusting that He will send somebody for the GER.

There have been several ways in which He has spoken to me, the last one is tomorrow with the reading that He has given me: the parable of the talents.

Yesterday I asked him to tell me something more clearly and to please not take too long, hahaha, because I wanted to answer you.
And this morning I find myself reading this parable, I think he is telling me not to hide the talents and to use them because otherwise I will lose them!!!
He tells me that He is going to help me, that he doesn’t use “perfection” or “I don’t know if I’ll do it right” as an excuse not to try…
It was difficult for me to decide because I went from a great enthusiasm for doing it to thinking that perhaps he was deciding based on pure vanity, or an excessive illusion that would not last long.

I had never understood this parable well and it seemed very unfair to me: that he should give more to the one who already had more… and punish the one who had hidden the talent underground…
I have written it down since the beginning of my VR (restoration journey) with a question.
I just understood it.

This is new to all of us, so what I would suggest is that you and Adina, hold up her hands as a 3-Cord and she volunteers for one month, to see if she is interested and if this is what He is calling her to do and then we come together after a month and she can let us know if this is for her. I am really excited. I am making a calendar event to include you and Adina.

Every minister must remember, to be effective we must never forget that we can do NOTHING. If we believe ourselves capable it’s “works” and worthless. HE is everything so our nothing plus His everything is everything!!! Apart from Him equates to 0+0=0
