What We Believe
We Believe . . .
That the Lord is the One and only Son of the living God. We believe that He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. He arose on the third day, ascended into heaven, is seated at the Father's right hand, and will return for His bride.
We acknowledge and believe that the Bible is the complete and infallible Word of God.
We believe that there is no other way to God than through salvation: no works, good deeds, church membership, or prayers to anyone else except God will get you to heaven and save you from eternal suffering.
We base our three-cord on these two Scriptures:
“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up. Furthermore, if two lie down together they keep warm, but how can one be warm alone? And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.”—Ecclesiastes 4:9-13
"But Moses' hands were heavy. Then they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it; and Aaron and Hur supported his hands, one on one side and one on the other. Thus his hands were steady until the sunset." —Exodus 17:12
